We were at the Caption which is next to the Hyatt Centric. Caption was very quirky and fun in design. It was clean and we have no complaints other than the restaurant was closed and we had to check in at the Hyatt Centric, next door (an additional walk with dogs and bags). Parking was either valet or across the street in a garage. During the day the area was fine, but at night felt a little sketchy. Beale street was fun and was an easy walk from the hotel. River front was also an easy walk from the hotel.

We arrived early, but our room wasn’t available. Check in was at 4, but our room wasn’t ready until 4:30. The valet parking was non existent when we arrived (3:00) and we ended up parking in the garage across the street. The room was small, but that was expected. Beds comfortable. It had everything we needed for a one night stay.

Approximately 3hours before check-in time I received a call from Customer Service advising they had overbooked and I would not have a room since I booked through a 3rd party but they could send me to another hotel. My room was paid in full when booked except for parking fees. This was unacceptable, especially when the call was hours before I was to check in.

Beautiful property we stayed in the balcony suite with a river view. Property had a few a leaks due to the heavy rain and it being an industrial building but no leaking in room itself. Would definitely stay again and recommend

I loved the location and the uniqueness of the property. I did not like the lack of housekeeping. We were told that housekeeping would happen on the 3rd day. I do not think this is adequate. There are only 2 large towels in the room which required me to request additional towels. Trash needs to be collected more than every three days in a hotel or there needs to trash chutes for guests. It is unsanitary to have take out/ delivery containers pile up for three days in a hot, humid location like Memphis. I loved the hotel but if they want guests to clean their own rooms, there need to be areas for us to dispose of trash and used towels. The valet staff was wonderful. The desk staff not so much.

Great Location! Check in and valet so slow!

Check in is awful. We waited an hour and a half to get our room (after the 4pm allotted check in time). I’ve never seen anything that poorly ran. The valet parking is understaffed. I felt bad for the gentleman who was working it as people were very frustrated. The bar area was nice but was out of many things. The location was excellent, close (walkable) to Beale street and fed ex stadium. The hotel was clean and well kept. The staff were nice. The sitting areas throughout were nice. Felt safe walking the short distance to Beale street.
