The staff was super nice and helpful and coming from out of town that was really important. the only thing I didn’t like were parts coming out the ceiling. But I believe they are going through renovations and it didn’t cause us not to enjoy our stay.

Absolutely loved the view from room and rooftop. Amazing and friendly staff from the moment we arrived. It is an older hotel but stay was well worth it. Walking distance to Beale St. Will be back!!

So disappointed..

We drove 5hrs to get to hotel..asked if we could get into our room(s) a little earlier due to we had a handicap senior with us...to no avail. Very admit about that 3pm check-in. Room(s) had discarded garage (clumps of hair) in bathroom garbage. No in-room coffee, ice on floor. Snacks abd drinks were variety limited. The Valet person had nice personality and friendly and was very helpful and knowledgeable of eateries in the area.

Definitely recommend

Everyone was friendly and went out of their way to assist whenever needed. The roof top bar was beautiful. Only criticism was the gym is across the street and not in the hotel. Definitely recommend the HU Hotel.

Front desk was sympathetic for our room not being ready at 3pm. We were given a text maybe around 4pm or 5. Not quite sure over a month later but everything was fine. We did have to wait on towels to be cleaned before we received enough for the whole family. We were in town for the Grizzlies vs Spurs and went to the Lorraine Hotel.

HU Hotel is a great value for downtown Memphis!

The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The location was very cool, as I wanted to be walking distance to historic Beale Street.
