While there isnot much to offer in the city of Menstrie, the casle is wonderful. The staff were super. There is a bar and lounge. They serve breakfast and have several items on the menu and all that we tried were good!
What a gorgeous spot and great staff. We loved our time here. Thank you!

Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
The look of it from outside it's the best thing about followed by the nice grass for my dogs.
Rooms are very dated. Windows could do with some painting and so the rooms and doors.
Overall very disappointed.
Pets fee applies 1st pet £20 followed by £10 per pet.
Breakfast £12.90 per person. Again very disappointed.
Apart from outside look, nothing Scotish and Castle about.
We paid in the end £176.80 which you can get a lot better elsewhere.

Booked luxury, got very basic
I booked a luxury double / twin. Requested double asked to change receptionist glillian was lovely and tried but was not allowed to change my twin to a double despite three rooms free.
Room was Basic with two tiny beds. No t bags. Tiny tv and looked nothing like my booking. Even their advertised Basic double looked better. Very disappointed. All the staff were lovely but I will not return. Don't expect what looked like a seaside b&b room described as luxury. Lovely staff and very clean just not as described or charges
I booked a king size bed and got a twin room. No lift . Moves rooms to a king bed only to find the TV didnt work. When i walked back to reception i was told the tvs dont work and was given an indoor digital ariel to try. The woman said she was yhe only one working and couldn't help...The tv remote wasn't the correct one for the tv so i couldn't get it to work at all... good job i had my Ipad with me
Unique accommodations in staying in an old castle. However we checked in late so there were no maintenance staff on site. Our tub leaked and flooded the bathroom so could not shower. The beds have old coil mattresses, so did not sleep well with the metal coils in my back. The stay was extremely expensive and given our experience it was not worth the money.

From arriving to leaving service and food was excellent thank you to all staff would recommend to friends and family
My husband and I totally loved our stay at Broomhall Castle! The staff were absolutely fantastic going above and beyond to make our stay extremely special! The relaxed vibe made us feel at home. Brilliant pub inside and lovely, spacious rooms! Would definitely go back and highly recommend it! You’ll not be disappointed!
This is actually a castle with gorgeous hilgh hills behind. There is no elevator and the floorboards are creaky, but that is to be expected for a castle thats hundreds of years old. Very nice staff, charming, we enjoyed it.
Nice little town. Great staff always helpful. Dinner was fantastic in their restaurant. Stayed in the 3rd floor, no lift. We pre packed clothes in a backpack to help save carrying a heavy suitcase up the stairs.
Broomhall looks better from the outside than inside. It needs some serious updating of furniture, beds and carpeting. Food was very mediocre and expensive for what you received. On the positive side the rooms were spacious and w large windows and views overlooking the valley. Staff was friendly but not terribly responsive. I had an issue w a shower door that never was addressed in my four nights. It is a convenient location to Stirling and there is plenty of parking.
