Location in Scenic Mentone on Cool Street less than two blocks from downtown and one block from Brow Park. Lovely 2 bedroom 2 bath authentic log cabin with maximum mountain charm and character. Open living, dining and kitchen on main level with full bath. Large stone wood burning fireplace with vaulted ceiling. Main room opens to screened porch with multiple tables and chairs to enjoy the tree tops and access to outdoor grill area, stairs up from main area to loft with king bed and spiral staircase down from main living area to private basement suite with twin XL beds, sitting area, bath and lower level screened patio with swing and comfortable sitting area. Lower basement suite also accessible from separate entrance.
Outdoor firepit and sitting area. Firewood is provided for a $25 fee per night, please let manager know if you would like to add this charge.
During your stay at this cabin, you're just a quick walk from Mentone Town Hall. Laundry facilities are available. Free WiFi and a kitchen are available in the cabin.

The cabin was beautiful warm and cozy. The property is well maintained and it is easy to see it is well loved in all the small details, window dressing, artwork as well as furnishings. We had a wonderful stay at the Red Bird Roost. It was quiet, peaceful, and incredibly relaxing. The kitchen was well stocked with all the basics, which made cooking easy and convenient.
