The staff were great, but the room whilst clean was very tired and basic. Not even a shower in the bathroom… a wall hook for the loose shower head would cost nothing to install (!). Bar and communal areas need some TLC.

What we expected after reading the reviews. We needed a place to stay for two days of hiking and the pool was a bonus. The jacuzzi isn’t warm enough and most of the jets don’t work. Our room was old, a bit damp, extremely creaky noisy wobbly floor, especially in the bathroom. No bedside table on one side of the bed despite there being room. No wall mounted shower or curtain. We found it tricky to hang wet things without a shower or towel rail. The bed was very comfortable though and it was very quiet. Saying all that - the staff were lovely and the food was excellent. Pricey but it was worth it. It’s an old building and needs a lot of work which would be very expensive so I understand why it’s run down. It could be so much better. All in all we had a nice stay as the scenery and area was beautiful.

The Staff are always brilliant at The Nant Ddu Lodge. They are friendly, courteous and always willing to help. We love coming here, this is where we come to chill and also catch up on our paperwork and prepare for when we go back home. The room we had this time was a new one on us, but we loved it and hope we can stay in it again. Thank you all for making our stay as great as always. Oh and the food is yum😋.

My partner and I had a fantastic stay here. The room was lovely and very warm and bed very comfortable. Breakfast was really good and very generous. We had a delicious meal in the restaurant one evening. Staff were all brilliant and extremely helpful. The swimming pool and hot tub were really nice, especially after a long hike.
