Drive just over 60 minutes from Melbourne to Kyneton, where Tiny Max resides. Here, your private hideaway is surrounded by the beauty of the bush - perfect for curling up with a book, or setting out on a mindful walk through nature. You may even be greeted by Harry, the farm dog, who loves welcoming guests to the property.



An outdoor bathtub invites you to soak under open skies, surrounded by the sounds and scents of the wild. It’s the perfect way to relax, restore, and fully immerse yourself in nature. Choose to add a touch of indulgence with a bespoke breakfast hamper or charcuterie board. And if you’re lucky, Harry the friendly farm dog may wander over to welcome you. Tiny Max encourages you to slow down, embrace the simple life, and find joy in the small things.

The Space:

Tiny Max sleeps up to three guests, with a queen bed by the window and a single loft bed.



Warm outdoor baths in winter, cool outdoor dips in summer — our bathtubs are made for every season. On hot days, simply fill the tub for an easy, refreshing soak under the sunshine. In winter, they become the perfect place to unwind in a warm, steamy bath surrounded by nature. We provide bedding, linen and towels, USB charger, fridge, fresh water for drinking, hot shower, eco-friendly compost toilet, fan, stove, BBQ, fire pit, outdoor stove, cutlery and plates, outdoor seating, books, games and provisions (soap, shampoo, conditioner, salt, pepper, coffee, sugar, matches and oil). You only need to bring food and drinks. Our tiny houses are powered by the sun and gas bottles. Don't expect to charge your laptop or plug in any appliances, but there is a small USB charger.



Guest Access:

The property is accessible by two-wheel drive, with convenient parking right beside the tiny home.



The Neighborhood:

Tiny house Max is just over 2 hours drive north east from Melbourne near the town of Merton. Set in a secluded location with views to Mount Buller and the Snowy Mountains, Max is the perfect getaway for when you just need space.



The local area is for all travellers - adventure seekers, nature lovers and peace seekers. Nearby you’ll find the Strathbogie Ranges, Harrops Folly Sanctuary, Mount Paradox, Merton Creek and Kippings Bridge. And for the wine lovers, there are numerous boutique wineries within a short drive. But if you ask us? We’d say stay put - cook over the campfire, wander the stunning property, start and finish a book, and just unwind in a beautiful space.
