The property was within a reasonable distance from the Templo Major and many museums and the national gallery. The room lacked adequate closet space and drawers for our clothes.

The hotel is very nice. Food is good but waitress/chef made multiple mistakes with food orders. We were compensated with free side dishes and cappucinos. The area around the hotel is not esthetically that nice. However, it is not unsafe and it is not far from a number of sites.

Recommend Great location and would stay there again. Would suggest this hotel to others. Less than 2 blocks from the Pino Suarez Metro (subway) station. Less than a mile (walkable) to the Zocalo or one metro stop away. Pino Suarez Metro station has many food vendors and merchandise for sale. Has restaurant and bar on site. Must go to the Zocalo. Great shower! 5 star shower! Only problem (minimal) was getting a second card for elevator and room entry. I guess they wanted us to download an app to the cell phone for the elevator and room access. We had two male adults on the trip and needed two cards. I would recommend this hotel. Great metro subway access. Very safe with both police and private security at the hotel and surrounding areas.

I went on a solo trip and decided to stay at this hotel. I felt so safe here! There was always security at the front. One of them always made sure to guide me to my Ubers. Novotel wasn’t that far from main attractions. I used uber, DiDi and walked as a form of transportation and did not have any issues. The hotel was very simple but just what I needed since I spent majority of my time out in the city anyway. The only complaint I har was just the lighting in the bathroom. It was hard to see when doing makeup because the lighting was so low but other than that it was a useful hotel for its purpose.
