When I arrived the hotel was Closed for construction. Looks like the Expedia failed to notify me about that. But the staff of the hotel was Amazing! They relocated me to another sister hotel that met my expectations. The 5 star is for the staff of the citizenM hotel South Beach Miami.

Great stay at citizenM South Beach Miami! The hotel is modern, stylish, and very clean with a fun, chic vibe. The location is perfect—just steps from the beach and close to great food and nightlife. Rooms are compact but comfortable and well designed. Friendly staff and great common areas. I’d definitely stay here again!

Have stayed a number of times at Citizen M and hadn't noticed until this time that although the idea is modern, minimalist and ecologically sound, just how uncomfortable/inconvenient it can be. Noticeably the first night when woke up wanting some water and there are no glasses in room. The pillows are also hard and uncomfortable and number of towels minimal. Its a shame because I really like the concept. Staff were nice and location right next to Lincolm Mall was great but not sure I will return to a Citizen M.

CitizenM is cool, but parking is terrible and expect to spend anywhere between $35-40 a night for parking. What made up for it was the dining options around the hotel and the food experiences were excellent.

Words will never be enough to express how my stay was. Every staff member became family to me. With the sudden passing of my mom, less than 24 hours into my stay, everyone rallied around me. The love, guidance, kind words, hugs and just the constant asking if i am okay meant the world. The beautiful bouquet of flowers i received from staff still makes me cry. I am forever grateful to all of the staff members and i miss them all already. I look forward to coming back to see them all.
