Check in very busy. Cruise people checking out & us cruisers checking in. Had to be on a waiting list before you could get a room. We did get a premium floor after i talked to a wonderful woman agent (Yamelin) & told her i already spent 2 previous expensive nights here jan 2-4 b4 our 3 cruises & im returning here after because we had a great stay earlier this month. She took care of us as Hilton Honors people. Thx

The staff were fabulous and the room was large and clean. The decor is definitely very dated and we could not get hot water in our room. It was Luke warm at best even after running for 20 minutes. The included breakfast is extensive and there were tortilla chips and salsa and veggies with dip included with the cost that evening (along with two drink tickets per person) in the lobby with live music, which was nice. The restaurant on site was extremely expensive and there are no other restaurants or fast food walkable from the hotel. The airport shuttle was great and was on time.

We arrived at 2 a.m. to be told we had a reservation but could not get our room until the audit from the previous day was complete and the books were closed. We ended up waiting two hours and still could not get our room. The person at the front desk, ELSA, was super rude, not caring and not willing to help at all. She kept saying these are the hotel rules and kept on disappearing! We ended going somewhere else. That ELSA person had zero customer service skills and is not a good representative of the hotel, and should NEVER be at the front desk!!!!
