Overall my stay was pleasant, but I did have an issue with the daytime valet service upon arrival. I checked in on July 1st at approximately 1630 to 1645 hours. The afternoon valet staff was rude and failed to clearly explain how the valet process worked at the hotel. Before I had even checked in, my keys were demanded instead of being politely requested. This made me question the legitimacy of the process since I did not yet have a room number. I was unsure how my vehicle would be handled under those circumstances. Fortunately, I later spoke with a very helpful front desk associate, possibly named Lavar, who clarified everything and made the situation better.

Staff was very friendly. Pool was nice but with goggles on there was a lot of hair on the bottom of the pool. In our room 408 the shower was handicap but the suction on the bottom it wasn’t sealed so the water would seep out. We had to clean up with towels after every shower. When I related this at checkout the staff said they knew about it!

The beds were very comfortable and the AC qirked great. We had a nice view of downtown from our room. The breakfast buffet had a lot of options. The fruit, especially the pineapple, was very fresh. We enjoyed our stay but it would have been more helpful if the conciege had walking maps of things to do in the area. Also it would have been great uf the shuttle also went to the airport and not just the port for cruises. Overall a nice stay.
