I had a very bad experience at this hotel. They did not provide any support or respond to my messages. I asked them to heat my food, and they initially agreed but then disappeared and never responded again. I also had the same issue with early check-in—they did not respond at all. They are completely unresponsive, and my experience communicating with them was very frustrating.

Issues with the code getting into the room and hotel but overall the room was nice
I was very pleased with the condition of my room. It was very pretty and decorated interesting. The king bed was larger than a standard king amd the sitting room adjoined with an huge sofa and kitchen with sink and fridge (no microwave). The bathroom had a jetted tub and a unique sink with knobs that were fashioned after the 1920’s. There was a trick to get the shower running. Pls note the 2 brown knobs both need to be pulled out to get the head to work. It took a minute for sure as there were 4 knobs. Of surprise the location was very quiet. My room faced an alleyway in the back of a restaurant (I believed) and the only noise was from the staff and they were gone by 11 pm. The price was reflective of the view. The parking garage is city owned at 13th street. Make a left out of the hotel. It’s $20 for 24 hours. A great value. Would stay there again.
We were quite surprised at how small our room was. Luckily it was just for 1 night. We were also disappointed that they could not honor an early check-in and we were stuck in their lobby with our suitcases (and no check in person to leave our bags with) until 4pm. Also, the picture of a patio in the hotel pics does NOT exist at La Flora. There is also no ice machine. Room was clean and the text communication was adequate.
No front desk staff so you do have to do everything online or through text which could be annoying if you really need something but the property was very convenient and easy to use and access and was always nice and clean
This is a hotel where you sleep at only and do activities around clock. Don't expect any amenities.
The positives: close to the beach, big bath tub, comfortable bed, helpful housekeeping staff, free beach chair
The negatives: Fridge leaking on the floor when I arrived, A/C went out when I was sleeping, weird elevator, beach towels promised & not deliviered, no hot water for the shower on my final day, no vending machine downstairs.
Wouldn't stay here again.
It’s brand new experience for me with virtual check in. The communication is excellent. They walked us through long before the trip. When we had questions or requests, they responded immediately.I like the room that had a table,2 chairs, storage rack/room, safe, and refrigerator. All very nice but unexpected stuff.
