I was sooo nervous going to this hotel because I didn’t really check out the reviews before purchasing the room but everything turned out just fine! With exception to having to pay $40 for overnight parking next door, I enjoyed my experience. My room renovated and spacious. Ac worked well. The bathroom was clean but don’t expect hot water and great pressure while taking a shower. Breakfast was fine, had options of grits, bagels, cereal and toast. I didn’t pay for the eggs but there was that as well. Overall good experience, I’d stay there again.

I would really like to review that the images on Travelocity were not the same as my room i believed i was getting a room with wood floor and restroom updated, we were in like the older older version of room… i was really upset, also their was a safety pin that i stepped on that poked me! and have pictures to prove it. That is something serious i could have gotten an infection from that so i would like to At least be compensated for that horrible incident.. This was not the weekend i signed up to stay at for as the hotel i was really upset and unsatisfied.

The property has potential. On the ocean - 10 stories and a pool. The good - location The bad: The staff was rude and lazy. My son who has been playing football for 10 years couldn’t use the gym because he was 17.5 not 18 years old. The woman ant the gym is nasty and made terrible comments to us and others with the same issue. Got the hotel manager in involved and he said he talked to her and there is nothing he could do because the gym is not associated with the hotel. What?? It sure doesn’t say that on their website. I asked if they’re were any towhrbiltiona and he said no like it was my fault! 2. Hotel is under renovation. We are moved to the renovated rooms when the shower handle fell off in our room. Lol. We called them the first day about the this and they sent someone up and said it was fine. Next day it fell off and we were moved. There are so many options on south and north beach that this place needs to get their stuff squared away. We won’t be going back. On a side note. Very few people spoke English so it was very hard to communicate with them. SMH

I enjoyed my stay over all! It was cool that the property was kind of historical, but that did create an outdated experience unfortunately. The property is incredibly antiquated and needs major updating. The A/C in the restaurant didn’t even function, so it was very difficult to enjoy the delicious food! Aside from that, the staff and service was incredibly friendly and helpful! I’d stay there again after a little TLC to the place…

This was the worst experience I have ever encounter. False advertisement is the best description for this stay. I did not have a private balcony. The furniture was very old and falling apart. The balcony door didn't lock. I had to complain that I wouldn't feel safe with broken door. there was grass growing out of the concrete on the balcony. I paid for the Deluxe Oceanfront king with a private Balcony but got a rundown room with two double beds with the boxspring falling apart. We went to the front desk immediately after entering the room to complain to the manager which we were told was not there and would be back in the morning at 9 am which was a lie. We never spoke with Kay the manager but did speak with Melinda the front desk supervisor who explained to us that the room that my fiance Chantay Davis paid for was downgraded to a Terrance verison of balcony but was still charged the total of $265.62 for the Deluxe price. The pictures online doesn't come close to what Chantay paid for on May 30th 2025. It was her birthday get away weekend on the beach in a ocean front kingsize bed with a private balcony room which turned out to be a nightmare in a dump. The person at the front desk who checked us in.Tried to find us the room that we paid for but could not find any available.She checked another room but it was freshly painted and the fumes along would be dangerous for us to stay in.The Front desk supervisor told Chantay that the $34.20 property tax would be refunded not true
The locks were broken and wouldn't lock. The front desk person who checked us in said none of the patio sliding doors locked.
The balcony was not private grass was growing through the concrete
The trash can was rusted from water damage.The floor wasn't vacuumed
The refrigerator was old didn't stay cold
