No sleep

The flat itself is perfectly fine (shower, kitchen, heating etc works), and the location can't be beat. But you WILL NOT GET ANY SLEEP in this flat. We were charmed by the location and the first appearance of the flat, only to be surprised by the revellers right downstairs till 0140 on a Thursday morning (screaming, shouting, kicking things around). To be followed by the rubbish trucks shortly after at 0300. The night after, party till after 0200. Then the climax with the dump truck CRUSHING glass bottles right outside our flat at 0700 (my other half said the trucks came round at 0600 beforehand which "luckily" I didn't hear). That glass crushing noise is the most horrific thing I've heard in a while, and is something that goes on and on and it destroys your soul. Especially when you're supposed to be on holiday. Tonight? It's Friday so hazard a guess. The parties still haven't finished downstairs and it's 4.30am. We were told by the property owner that it "should be an exception". Except it hasn't been for our entire stay of three nights. It was beyond surprising that our stay in Milan (in an upmarket area, no less) is much, much less restfull than our stay in the chaotic Napoli. You WILL NOT get any sleep in this flat. We need another holiday just to get over this leg of our "holiday".
