Nice place with some makeover required. The thing I hated was when at check-in the receptionist tried to take all details from my bank card as a deposit arguing that had been outlined in Expedia's email (it hadn't) - I had to give them EUR100 cash (no issues with getting it back at check-out)

A tired and dated hotel. Difficulties using ApplePay to cover a city tax deposit (unbelievable). Left a cash deposit instead. No towels in the bathroom and very mediocre breakfast, in line with most Italian hotels at this level. Poor location.

Awesome place to stay near Milano Centrale station. Breakfast is provided with lots of food and drinks. The room is clean and size is reasonable. I like the decoration of the hotel. Great place.

I can only say good things about The Doria Grand. The staff was multi lingual and very helpful. The room was beautiful and comfortable. I opted for the breakfast and was not disappointed. It was plentiful with an excellent variety. I highly recommend this hotel.

Trip to Milan

The Hotel was quite nice. The Staff let me check in early, which was a relief after a long flight. The room and bathroom were quite spacious which is rare in most hotels in Europe. The bed was quite firm but comfortable enough. They did not have an iron on request as the website said and I was quite disappointed. The hotel would send clothes out to be ironed as a rate more than I wanted to pay. The Hotel was a short walk from the central train station and was not too bad once you find your way (the streets are crazy there). The breakfast was nice with a variety of choices.

Excellent Hotel

Excellent hotel located close to Milan Central railway station and metro with several restaurants nearby. The room was fantastic and large with room for a large bed as well as a couple of chairs and a great bathroom making it extremely comfortable after spending all day walking exploring Milan. A good choice of breakfast items provided each morning to set you up for the day. I would certainly use this hotel again.

Walking distance to Milano Centrale Station, there are 2 train lines (red and green) nearby. Room is considered spacious, king size bed need to improve on the amenities eg tissue, slipper shoes.
