Full eat in kitchen (condiments/cookware/dishes etc. provided), full bath w/ stall shower. Free WIFI. Children Welcome. Located 1 mile from Cedar Beach. 8 min drive to downtown Port Jefferson Village (ferry to/from CT here). Close to restaurants, shopping, farms, park & playgrounds, vineyards, & SBU.

The space:
Tucked away on the north shore of Long Island, in the historic community of Miller Place, you'll find a pleasantly eclectic space we like to call "The Dogwood Inn". Our space is a little bit funky, a little bit fun, and very, very clean.

Generally sleeps 4, but feel free to inquire about slightly larger parties and use of air mattresses

Guest access:
Were located on a quiet woodsy road walking distance to regular civilization. The area we are in is often likened to a campground, and rightfully so as it was once a summer holiday retreat peppered with log cabins and bungalows. All roads in this pocket of town are single lane and heavily tree lined. But no worries - we have off street parking!

Interaction:
We live on site and are available to attend to our guests needs at any time. Though our house is connected to the Airbnb space the only common areas are the driveway and the backyard (should you choose to utilize it). We love to host and entertain, and consider ourselves very friendly, fun, and outgoing individuals. We own a professional cleaning company (so you can rest assured your space will be safe and sanitary). We welcome any questions or feedback you may have during your stay.

We are a short drive (or slightly longer walk) to convenient businesses like supermarkets, pharmacies, coffee shops and restaurants

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Check out is at 10: 00 AM unless discussed prior. Please ensure the space is left neat & tidy as it was found when you arrived so that our cleaning crew can deep clean & sanitize for the next guests.
Leave beds unmade and used towels can be left in the shower . Wash any dishes you have used and please discard any and all open food items. Place all trash, kitchen and bathroom, in the pail outside.
Double check for your phone chargers, computer chargers, or any devices and clothing you may have brought with you! Please lower the heat to 60° / shut window AC units before exiting.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
