Beds were fine, bathroom light wasn’t working, the ceiling in the bathroom was pretty nasty looking almost didn’t want to shower because of it, the windows are all sorts of messed up The windows are literally falling apart.

Around 10:30 pm the night we checked in, our tv and wifi completely stopped working. Still had power but refused to play anything or connect to our phones to steam anything. Our wifi would barely hold one bar of service which wasn’t enough to do literally anything on our phones and our tv just showed black screens on every tv channel. There was no hand soap in the bathroom or microwave or fridge in the room. The food at the bar was just okay and the staff were somewhat rude and unhelpful, parking was also fairly limited

Great location

We had a great stay. Biggest pro, shower pressure. Con, the parking. Food was great, staff was great. The smell of the room right as you walk in each time is a little off putting but it goes away

Staff Directed Me to Park-Then Told Me to Move

We were in town for the State Fair and I typically don’t leave reviews, but this experience stood out. When I checked in, the front desk clerk was helpful and walked outside to show me exactly where to park as the lot was pretty full. I appreciated the guidance until I was woken up by a call from the front desk clerk (new staff) at 12:45am telling me I needed to move my vehicle because if was parked in a spot reserved for the shuttle bus. I explained that their own staff had directed me to park there and I wasn’t happy about moving my vehicle but would be down to do so. About 5 minutes later I received another call that I no longer needed to move my vehicle because they found another option. This was frustrating and definitely disrupted to mine and my daughter’s night. This could have been avoided with better communication between staff. Otherwise, our stay was fine, but being woken up in the middle of the night for something that wasn’t my fault left a bad impression.

This was a last minute booking for the Wisconsin State Fair. To our surprise they offer a free shuttle to and from fair. The rooms have been updated (carpet needs to go. Felt gross on bare feet) Not the most soundproof rooms but it is an older hotel. Overall rooms were clean. Lobby was very welcoming. Basement bar was a blast. Breakfast was a hotel continental breakfast. However the ladies did a great job of keeping up with hot foods and keeping everything clean and wiped down

Girls 2025 Trip

Three 60+ year old women and the elevator did not work for two days. Had to carry our luggage down the stairs. Not once were we asked if someone could assist us. Bartender on the first night was great by providing use with limes after he closed. Parking was terrible. Our friend ended up with a $30 parking ticket.
