Hands-down, the friendliest and most helpful staff team I’ve ever experienced! After staying at hundreds, if not a thousand or more hotels, this one is my favorite for so many reasons! Great staff (as I’ve mentioned), quaint & historic hotel, but with all the modern amenities. Love their pool/hot tub/sauna area! This is one of very few hotels that has a sauna, and it’s fantastic! We had a room on 4th floor overlooking pool—very cool ambience! Rooms clean and modern! Area is safe and quiet, despite being steps from the downtown Minneapolis scene! Their water purifier stations throughout the hotel produce some of the best drinking H20 we’ve had! Last, but not least, the omlet at their restaurant was superb! Try it; you won’t be sorry (I distain onions, but the hint of caramelized onions paired with the hollandaise was out of this world! The only criticism I can retrieve from the experience is the somewhat low water pressure in sink and shower (shower, btw, is dual head!). But, hey, the environment and all, so I’m hesitant to even mention it, as I’ll gladly sacrifice a tiny bit of additional water pressure to support water conservation.
