Such a mess for an important mother son trip

My very first experience with the check-in agent was awful. She was rude and my second person I dealt with at the check-in desk when I was trying to explain to her how my experience went she was somewhat dismissive. I had called the day before my check-in date and explained to them that I needed a room with two beds because this was a trip for my adult son and I to see a concert. They assured me that they had that in my record that it wouldn’t be a problem And that I had a room to clean beds. I get there we get up to a room. it’s a room with one king bed. I go back downstairs and they explain to me that they had sold out. We had checked in a little bit early at around 3 PM and they were already sold out. They offered to get my 6 foot four son a roll away which he said was no big deal, but I was upset that that was what had happened since I even called the day before to let them know our needs

Overbooked hotel even though my reservation was booked months ago and they downgraded my room and charged me the same amount. They never notified me of this change and my friend and I had to share a queen bed.

I checked in for two queen beds for three adults staying. They gave me a room. Said nothing. I got up there and it was a king bed. No pull out. I called down. Said I think there was a mistake because I’m in a room with only one bed. Had me talk to the manager, who put me on hold. Came back on to tell me they don’t have that room for me. They have no more two bed rooms left. Check in was at 4:00. We were there at 4:30. Offered a roll away. I’ll have to see my bill if they charged me to use it.

The front desk staff were phenomenal! My daughter and I were so appreciative of how the desk staff that checked us in made us feel so welcome. We wish we could remember her name, all we recall is that her name started with a “R”. She was so kind. We applaud her and her dedication to her phenomenal work and professionalism. Great service, staff, but some cleaning needed

We had to ask for more towels and tissues. I think the room could have been better stocked. Also, the space between the nightstand and the wall had not been vacuumed for quite some time. The dust buildup was unappealing there and other places in the room and bathroom, most noticeably on the chrome parts. That said, supplies were given promptly when asked for and the beds and pillows were very comfortable.
