We thoroughly enjoyed the common areas - from the warming Santal aroma that greeted us upon check-in, to the spacious room with a very comfortable bed… if you choose a stay here you will be very impressed. We had breakfast at the Joilliet restaurant - which had the most delicious Egg Benedicts made to order. It was Easter weekend when we were there so lots of restaurants closed early, and the brunch was more expensive due to the holiday - but we thought it was well worth the splurge to stay and would highly recommend!

It was nice, but I felt the room was arranged poorly. Especially if you are a person who likes to watch TV in bed. Our major issue was the overwhelming perfume scent of the room. We are not people who normally complain about strong scent, but we found this almost sickening. We did talk to the front desk about it were given a fan. We are home now and can smell it on our jackets and clothes. What happened in there that needs to be covered up to that extent? If you are scent sensitive, I don't know if this is the place for you.

The hotel is starting to see it's wear. The shower door leaked at the bottom- the floor towel was soaked after a shower. The carpet was dirty and spots were visible in the room. But good location and great staff.
