The same standard as the last time I stayed at King Hotel. I like it because it is quiet, clean and well managed. I’ve been working in the area and will return when I am in the area again. Very friendly staff!

Appreciated the easy check in and check out procedure. However, the listing needs to be updated as they do not offer a continental breakfast on the weekends anymore. The listing did note continental breakfast on weekends only, but when we asked staff on the Friday night they said they no longer offered continental breakfast because they had received complaints about the variety of options in the past. A large number of guests were staying for a local curling tournament, and we hope this was not a decision made by the staff purely because of the cost to feed the large number of tournament guests. The common room has two nice pool tables which offer play for $2 a round, and still has the toaster, fridge, coffee maker etc. visible. However the facilities are clean, and our two queen bedroom room did have both a large bar fridge, and microwave. Housekeeping during the week was prompt and efficient, and left the room very nice, new towels, refilled any used cups, Etc. However again, we did not receive housekeeping from our Saturday night to Sunday morning stay, and again wonder if they do not offer certain amenities over the weekend. The location, however, is close to everything in town and local highways. No issues with heat or hot water. The townsfolk from Palmerston are delightful, welcoming, and we overall enjoyed our stay for the tournament. Would definitely recommend it for any folks or families looking to stay in the area if there may be a local event going on.

This is a great hotel for a small town. Super clean and service was great. Breakfast in the morning was more than enough! Would recommend and would stay again
