my family have visited embassy hotel since my daughter was 5year old. now she is 22. So, I know how to change embassy hotel. first of all, we love embassy hotel but couple of unconfort things we have experance this vacation. 1.Breakfast area tables are all sticky. need to replace it. 2.some visitors keep talking and laughing until 2;30 am. as you know embassy hotel inside bldg. eco sound. but nobody stop them. 3.elevastor out of order in coupledays near lobby. keep waiting or use stairs. 4. my room was first floor. there is no ice machine. We stil love embassy hotel and Destin miramar beach Staff is kindlly, clean and good service everting good. even this review e mail too. thanks

It was kind of warm in the lobby. Air conditioning may have been broken but it wasn’t unbearable and rooms were nice and cool. Beautiful hotel all together and extremely helpful and nice staff! Loved the crab cakes and bar inside. Bartender got me very tipsy since it was my birthday. I will definitely stay again!

Hotel was pretty but elevators were broken ac didn’t work. Hotel didn’t offer to put us in another room had to practically beg for day and half for box fans. House keeping didn’t come by until our last day though we were told they’d be by daily. So we had to stack our trash bags in the hall. The creamer in the room was spoiled and chunky. Had to ask daily for clean towels in our room. The dirty towels didn’t get picked up until our last night there. The refrigerator froze up and a maintained man finally showed up 3 hrs later got it working again but the. We had to keep towels In floor to soak up the water from the ice melting inside the refrigerator.

Property was nice. Beach access was across the street but a great beach. There was a very basic outdoor pool at the hotel along with hot tub which was great. We enjoyed the 2 free drinks each night, the free snacks each night, the great breakfast each morning and the restaurant food was good. Megan (manager) was fantastic and very friendly and helpful as was Donna. Pimlada was a great bartender as was Amelia, but she is no longer going to be there as she was leaving the area with her family. DJ was also very friendly and gave great service at front desk. Hotel very convenient to restaurants, grocery store, shopping outlets, etc. My only complaints are the elevators were not all in service, it was very humid in the hotel, although ac in room was fine. No lactose free milk options at breakfast but i found out (with Donna's help) that omlets were made with a non-dairy butter/oil so i could eat them. We wished there was music at the pool. Overall we loved this place and would definitely return.

The property used to be very nice , but lately its in need of major remodel ,everything from furniture to doors to bathrooms its in bad shape . Too bad the location is very convenient. Also this time its like I booked a hotel for dogs,never saw so many dogs in a hotel ! I can understand a service animal but i bet half of the rooms had a dog. Not to mention they were pooping all over and sometimes was picked up other times was left there even buy the beach shower, gross!. I dont think i will stay ther anytime soon.

Miramar - Embassy Suites

We would recommend this hotel. It is not located on Destin proper but instead is on Miramar Beach. We preferred Miramar Beach because we were out of the hustle and bustle and the busyness of Destin. While the hotel is not directly on the beach, it is on the street behind the beach and they have their own private walkway to the beach and you can rent their beach chairs on the beach or bring your own; it was $45 for the day for two chairs and an umbrella; Hotel had the usual make to order breakfast and buffet; the hotel is actually a little rundown and showing its age, but it was very clean and we just thought the location was very convenient; we Uber’s to lots of restaurants; there’s also a walk / bike path in front of the hotel; there’s a beach restaurant in front of the hotel on the beach side, but they are very overpriced and the food was just OK; it was about $30 for a mediocre grouper sandwich; we just ate there because it was convenient since it was right next to the Embassy Beach area;
