The room was nice with a little extra space because of the round building design. The room was clean and the bathroom was great as well- awesome water pressure for nice shower. They were in the process of renovating which will be good as the hallways seemed dark and generally just needs updating. We came for the NYE eve festivities and it was good to be within walking distance of the downtown area. The staff at the hotel was always friendly and welcoming! Did have an unfortunate experience in the attached restaurant- Lafayettes but it was handled by the hotel front desk staff and we were refunded for the breakfast vouchers. Would consider returning to the hotel if we were in the area again!

We were only there for a short overnight stay. As we turned from the main street onto the one for the hotel, it is behind what appears to be an old motel, so that kind of stressed me out a bit. We were approached by what appeared to be a homeless man wandering through the parking lot as we unloaded our bags, but hotel security was ON IT. The security guard came around the same side of the building as soon as the man got close & escorted him off property through an entrance on a different street. Gave me pause about the hotel after that, but no other problems and in the daytime the area seemed nicer. Rooms are big and ours was basic but clean, which is what we needed for the night. Can’t comment on the bar because it was closed for a private event that night and we did not have breakfast in the restaurant.
