Great but needs a little work

The room was very comfortable and clean. The bartender in the restaurant is wonderful. The staff at the front desk was wonderful. The tub did not drain very well, the shower head was loose and came out of the wall a little bit, and you had to find the sweet spot on the handle to get the shower to turn off and on.

Just a good nights sleep.

I was initially given a room that was not set up to have people in it. There were no pictures on the walls, no trashcans in the room, no coffee maker, no directTV box, the TV was unplugged, and the toilet was turned off at the faucet. I asked for another room and was given a double queen. This room was fully prepped and ready for guest. Overall the hotel is becoming a little dated and needs some modern upgrades. The rooms did not seem to have "do not disturb" signs, but hotel houskeeping was on top of their job. I received a complimentary breakfast for one morning of my stay, but honestly the breakfast was subpar and could use some more options (like orange juice). This hotel is nice and quiet and offers a good value if you are not needing anything more than a nights sleep.

The floor was wet and the bed only had a sheet and no comforter. There was old food left behind and overall the room felt dirty. However, the staff was wonderful and kind and accommodating.

The AC was out in the lobby, hallways and common areas. We had a high school reunion and it was crazy hot! The staff were *great* and I think they did the best they could under the circumstances.

The gentleman who checked us in was so pleasant and made great conversation. However, the pool was completely inaccessible the entire stay, the food in the restaurant was over priced and mediocre. No working microwave or ice machine on the second floor where we stayed. Towels were stained with hair dye and were not replaced. House keeping didn’t tidy the room our entire stay either. Seemed like no AC in the hallways.

This place is so confusing - the staff are as nice and helpful as they can be. I didn’t interact with anyone here who wasn’t super nice. But the hotel is not updated or particularly well kept, and for what they charge it should be. It’s clean for sure but hadn’t been updated in 30 yrs at least.
