Comfortable hotel by the sea

We spent three comfortable days here. The view from the balcony was splendid. Everything functioned well. Buffet breakfast was tasty but a bit expensive at 14 euros. The rooms are not sound proof. Noice from the corridor woke us up at 1 am on a Sunday morning.

Wir waren für 6 Nächte im Hotel. 4 Nächte im Zimmer mit Meeresblick und kleinen Balkon, 2 Nächte im Zimmer mit Bergsicht. Das Bergsichtzimmer war halb so teuer, aber doppelt so gross. Lohnt sich eher, dieses Zimmer zu buchen. Die Zimmer sind modern ausgestattet und eingerichtet sowie sauber. Die Betten sind gross und unser Erachtens bequem. Praktisch war auch, dass Strandtücher bezogen werden konnten. Jedoch waren die Zimmer sehr schlecht isoliert: Den Strassenlärm hörte man die ganze Nacht über. Auch die nächtlichen Unterhaltungen vom Zimmer-Nachbar neben konnte man aufs Wort mitverfolgen. Das Personal war unserer Meinung nach sehr unfreundlich und nicht besonders hilfsbereit: beim Eintreten und Verlassen des Hotels wurden wir während den 6 Tagen weder begrüsst noch verabschiedet, wenn wir nicht die Initiative ergriffen haben. Auch die Zimmermädchen haben um 7.30/8.00Uhr extra gegen unsere Zimmertüre mit dem Staubsauger geschlagen, nachdem wir sowieso schon eine schlechte Nacht hatten. Das Früchstücksbuffet ist gut und frisch. Aufpreis 15 Euro/Person. Vor dem Hotel gibt es ein paar Parkplätze (Hotelgrundstück). Die muss man wohl weit im Voraus vorreservieren. Ansonsten ist die Parksituation eher schwierig. Es gibt öffentliche Parkplätze, die jedoch alle 12h nachbezahlt werden müssten und extrem teuer sind (12h/17 Euro). In der Nähe des Casinos gibt es ein 24/24h Parking, das sich trotz Distanz empfehlt.

Balkon mit Meerblick toll. Strand direkt vor dem Hotel. Super Service, sehr freundliches hilfsbereites Personal. Frühstücksbuffet für jeden etwas dabei. Sehr empfehlenswertes Hotel.

Sehr schönes Hotel

Wir hatten das Zimmer in der ersten Etage neben der Terasse, eher eins der schlechteren Zimmer. Trotzdem waren wir sehr zufrieden. Das Hotel ist sehr schön gelegen für einen Spaziergang in die Stadt. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend gewesen. Bei unserem nächsten Besuch in Menton, würden wir wieder in dieses Hotel gehen. Parkmöglichkeiten hat es einige auf der Strasse, teilweise ohne Gebühr und teilweise mit Gebühr (in der Nacht gratis).
