The place is beautiful….did not like the bathroom, first didn’t have a shower curtain, the tub was pretty unsafe to stand in, and the toilet was way too low and uncomfortable to flush… loved the bedroom being its own room and the furniture was really nice.

Our stay at the Hockley Valley Resort was quiet, for the wedding we were attending and quite pleasant. The room was very comfortable although showing definite signs of wear and tear..... also the bath and shower area appeared renovated , we could have tripped over the wrinkles in the carpet. The check-in procedure could have been streamlined immensely. Although promised, check in staff neglected to notify us when our room was ready and we had to kill 3 hours in the restaurant prior to room availability.

The spa is fabulous but outdated. I have been coming to the spa for 12 years and it’s looking tired. The staff however were top notch. The rooms are a bit dated as well and so is the carpet square in the elevator. The Cabin restaurant was excellent with fresh , local items on the menu. Again, the staff in the restaurant was fantastic.

I absolutely loved it there. Everything was perfect. The food at Cabin was so delicious. The chefs have put their heart into that food. The lamb...to die for. Also our server Craig was so good at his job! The soaps in the bathrooms were wonderful, always nice to have a)squeezeable bottles and conditioner! Would highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at the property. We agreed that we had to come back again. The room was beautiful and the heated toilet seat was a bonus! The only thing was the front desk stay who checked us in was not very helpful and did not explain the amenities on site, even though the other front desk staff was explaining in detail to the other guest checking in next to us. Rather than that, we had a wonderful stay.
