The staff is incredible. They remember you when you leave and come back. The meals prepared by the Chief are authentic and delicious Jamaican food. The whole facility gives you a nice environmental and Jamaican vibe. They need to add working cardio equipment in the weight room so that people can stay healthy and fit if they choose to during their stay.

The staff were friendly and accepted. I loved that they had games such as pool, darts, chess etc. The parking was limited which could be problematic if you wanted to drive around and come back. For the price the food was decent and as a vegan there were options I could choose from. I liked that it was all inclusive and the virgin drinks were satisfying. The room was clean however the bathroom appeared outdated and would benefit from an upgrade. Compared to other comparable hotels this was my lease favorite in terms of aesthetics.

Stayed at Deja Resort: July 3rd–9th Deja Resort has a charming character, and it’s clear that in its prime, it was truly a beautiful destination. However, the property is now in need of some much needed upgrades and a thorough deep cleaning, as certain areas appear rundown and unkempt. The pool was under renovation during our stay hopefully, a sign of more improvements to come. That being said, what truly made our stay enjoyable was the incredible staff. Every team member we encountered was kind, attentive, and welcoming. Their warm hospitality helped to offset the discomfort caused by the condition of the resort. The food was another highlight, especially the Jamaican dishes, which were absolutely delicious! A special shoutout to Loretta, the best host! Her outstanding service is the main reason my family and I plan to return. With some improvements, this resort has the potential to shine once again.

The hotel should not be classified as resort instead it’s a motel. It’s like a quick stop by stay. It’s outdated to the max basically. We checked in on Friday, July 4 and checked out Sunday, July 6 just a little getaway. I think the state would have been better if they at least had authentic Jamaican food there was none. The pool was not accessible. It was being repaired in which the repairs were done Sunday morning when we were getting ready to leave the beach is across the street from the motel, unlike most of the resorts, the beaches behind the hotel privately so we have to cross the street in traffic to get to the beach which wasn’t a big deal. I did however, like that the scenery was basically authentic Jamaican vibes

This was my families' 3rd stay at Deja and as always, it was excellent!! The staff are extremely friendly, helpful and engaging, making us feel like family. The food, the drinks, entertainment and cleanliness are all top-tier! Easy access to Doctor's Cave Beach and walkable to other beaches, shops, etc. Deja is truly a hidden gem and we'll stay again and again!

I don’t want to go into detail on the things I didn’t like but rather go on about the things I loved! The resort is in the heart of everything (convenient stores/boutiques) & right across the street from the beach (Doctor’s Cave). The staff members I adored: Andre, the baggage handler to the room. He was super sweet. The manager & assisting manager with the beautiful brownish locs.. I appreciate you both! You were attentive and 100% amazing all around. Loretta (the entertainer) my goodie girl did her thing every time. Carline (the morning chef on the skillet) I loved her smile every morning. She made my omelettes perfect! You would just have to see the resort for yourself and trust the front desk staff and the dining staff in the mornings are nothing short than wonderful. Not to mention there is 24/7 cab service in the front or in the surrounding area.
