Exceptional service....we had an amazing time at Hyatt Zilara... The staff, entertainment and food selections were spectacular. I cannot wait to cime back. I was celebrating my birthday and was surprised to receive an upgraded room along with cake and champagne delivered to the room. How thoughtful and appreciative. We enjoyed the glow party, all white night with fire dancers and the Michael Jackson experience show, simply Phenomenal.

The basics- stayed in ocean view room with my gf for 4 nights 37f / 44m and we stayed on adult side to give some context. Positive: Rooms were clean and spaceful. Bathroom was huge and rain shower is amazing at the Hyatt. Bed was comfy and slept well each night. Hotel Grounds were well kept, clean and staff were all very pleasant with all our interactions. The fitness area might have been the nicest and biggest hotel gym I’ve ever been to. Beach area with shade was a tropical dream. Italian restaurant was best food there Negative: Flies everywhere on adult side lobby Made it uncomfortable to stay in that area. Rocks everywhere underwater which Made swimming at the adult side beach uncomfortable. The family side was way better on a sand bar. Grounds were difficult to navigate (No visual signage for closest bathrooms, bars, restaurants, gift shops). Daily activities were a let down for an all inclusive with very limited options/times. My biggest problem there was dining reservations. However, there were 4 onsite restaurants that required reservations which can only be made during certain times/ locations onsite u better book out at least 48hrs in advance. There’s no walk-up patronage taken at any of these restaurants. This becomes a huge negative because until you know what restaurants u like or don’t and if you’re off property on an excursion all day…You’re stuck w average buffet each night. Summary: ambiance was great. Execution falls short

I was extremely pleased with this property. I have stayed at many and this is one of the best thus far. The food was seasoned nicely, the restrooms were clean, the entire property was clean and you can really relax here. The rooms were spacious. The only caveat is I wish they would inform you of the activities when you check-in. There were free sailing activities we did not learn about until the day before we checked-out. We overheard visitors talking about it.

When I come to Jamaica I want caribbean food, not all that american food . All I saw mostly was jerk chicken and rice and peas, there was curry goat, no caribbean breakfast, I was disappoint in that. Also they need more for vegetarian, like veg patties. Over all the food was good. The beach water very rocky, you can hurt yourselt. The staff and management was very nice. The music was good and fun.

This property is nice. The rooms could use some updated decor, rooms are very blan and not island or vacation feeling at all. Staff are exceptional and friendly, especially the young lady Tiana that checked us in!
