We stayed at the Hyatt Zilara in February 2025. The resort was very clean and the staff was exceptional, always there to help you and went out of their way to make your stay memorable. The food was amazing. There were many different options at each dining location including seafood and vegetarian options. The rooms are spacious and clean. I always felt safe during my stay as only employees and other people staying at the resort were allowed on the resort properties, including the beach. There are three main pool areas as well as three main beach areas. The resort has non motorized water sports like kayaking and sailing included. We went sailing one day and loved it. I also visited the Zilara spa towards the end of my trip and thought it was worth every penny. Would definitely come back!!

I experienced very limited transportation. It was difficult finding transportation to and from the airport. I personally think making reservations to the restaurants should be open until at least 8 PM and not end at 5 PM.

The property was nice and well maintained. However, the supervisor we dealt with on arrival held up our check in claiming that we did not book the correct room a jr swim up king suite. She then gave us a different room from what we booked that was “Equal” which was a jr swim double queen. This room had the worst mattress of ANY hotel I have ever stayed at, include a Microtel! The mattress was so old I could feel the springs in my back and I was forced to sleep outside on the patio futon the last two nights because I was in so much pain. Considering how unfriendly the supervisor was I didn’t think it would be worth my time to begin another argument to get another room. Over the duration of our stay I realized that they had multiple floors that were not in use due low occupancy prior to the holiday. I believe that we were rebooked to another room for the convince of the staff. This experience was sub-par for any hotel chain but horrible for a Hyatt. I will be sending a customer complaint directly to Hyatt based on this experience.

The employees were polite and fast. The corridors of the floors smell very nice. The bedroom is very spacious, the beds are clean and comfortable. The room air conditioner works quietly. There are many different restaurants. the day was not enough to go to all of them. The menu and tastes of the food and snack buffets are great. We did not have trouble finding a sunbed by the pool or on the beach. Night entertainment and animations could have been better. Only the Italian restaurant was very noisy and buzzing . I also wish there were more trash cans around

This resort was more of a 3-star rating instead of a 5-star. There was no entertainment on the Adults only side. On the family side, the entertainment was great!! Most of the restaurants were already booked! So we were only able to eat at 2 different restaurants the 4 days we were there. Very disappointed! Like most all-inclusive resorts, the drinks are watered down. Our overall experience was average!
