The service was good fast and simple. didn’t have or need much interactions. while passing by the rooms blinds where open and most the rooms where empty. when checked in was told to wait for a clean room. the room smelled like it was moist and had a weird smell. the hot tub was broken. should be listed on the page. the pool entrance has a room card needed to enter but also had a latch that needs to be unlocked as well. the trash bins were small and had no lid so there were always flies around the first floor. trash bins needs lids to keep flys away.

Good stay for a quick trip

Had a wonderful stay for the holiday weekend. Although the hotel was full, I was pleasantly surprised how quiet it was on our side of the building. The bed wasn't the most comfortable, it was stiff and could be better. But it was great to be so close to the beach and all the sightseeing we planned to do. The breakfast selection every day was pretty good!

We had a great two night stay for Cali Roots. Quick bike ride to the festival, awesome free breakfast in the mornings and a bridge right to In-N-Out next door for late night food when we got back. Property was nice and a quick bike ride to the beach as well. Room was clean and spacious, if a bit dated. Bed was super comfortable and staff was friendly! Definitely recommend.

Hotel needs to up its game

Phone in room was useless. Could not make a call to the front desk. None of the buttons worked. The room 401 above me, it’s shower was leaking into my bathroom so had to hear water dripping from the ceiling onto the shower head and then tub, tub was dirty from that

The staff was helpful and we enjoyed the breakfasts we had. We would suggest some changes to the property. Our toilet/shower area was tiny and it appears that a short (in length) toilet was installed a number of years ago. In addition, the floor tile and shower tile appear worn. We would recommend remodeling the toilet/shower area with the following improvements: bump out this area approximately 18 inches into the bedroom area, install a normal size toilet, removed the floor and shower tile, replace the flooring with a water proof plank-type flooring, install a solid plastic shower insert and shower pan, and re-plumb and move the shower nozzle and valve to the opposite side of the shower stall.
