We really enjoyed our stay here. Maybe 4 star service elsewhere, but for Montevideo this is definitely the best hotel choice in my opinion. Very charming hotel. Super clean and aesthetically pleasing and walkable to the beach and other desirable restaurants and bars. We stayed three nights and wish we could’ve stayed longer. Very beautiful and peaceful.

Luxury experience at a reasonable price.

We had a lovely stay. The staff was extremely pleasant and helpful. The rooftop pool/bar/restaurant area is excellent with great views of the city.

Great choice

Excellent, tasteful hotel with good amenities and an attentive front desk. Really pleasant rooftop bar and sunchair/pool area. Walkable to Pocitos beach and rambla, plus restaurants/bars. All-around 5 stars. Only downside is no spa but you can get massage in-room.

The hotel is beautiful and everything works to perfection. The one thing that I think is important for you to know before going is beds are really soft. Like a cocoon. If that's your preference, you will love these beds. But, if you have back pain, check if they have firmer beds.

Best place to stay in Montevideo

Our first time to MVD and UY. This hotel is centrally located and modern and fresh. The staff is warm and friendly and helped in spite of our bad Spanish. Several staff completely fluent in English. They are very service oriented.

Great building in a very nice part of Montevideo

Very central with a great rooftop pool and drinks area. Breakfast was great. A bit difficult to find the parking but that’s the only negative I can think of.

Loved everything about this hotel. Starting from the lobby, to the room, the roof bar, everything was exceptional. Love the staff too. So helpful and welcoming. I planned my timing wrong so I was in Montevideo when the city is totally empty and quiet but I considered extending my stay just because of the hotel. That is how good it was!

A very nice hotel which for us were the service and cleaning personnel thanks to all the front office for making our stay so welcome. Our biggest disappointment was the top-floor dining. I have no problem about the hotel, staffs are professional, hotels are clean, centrally located, however, this is not a five star hotel, in my opinion, it's only a three star at the maximum, it's not worth the price.

we requested extended checkout and we’re told on check-in that it wouldn’t be problem if we asked in the morning. The desk staff in the am did not immediately honor our request and it required insisting to get the time we requested even though we had agreed to pay extra. The pool area is nice but quite small. Hotel is walking distance from small restaurants and the shopping mall—very convenient.
