It's a nice small hotel in a good neighborhood. The room was overlooking the main road but it was quiet. The only thing that needs improvement is their breakfast. Skip it.

Good location, busy area around with easy access to transportation such as bus and subway. The building is very old but the unit I stayed seems to be renovated. Furniture very old and I found some bugs, which it made me uncomfortable. Good and simple breakfast included. I couldn't find the gym in the building as mentioned. Nice staff and vefy helpful.

1) Property looks amazing in the photos, quite aged up close and not exactly in the best way. Not terrible, just less amazing. 2) They have valley parking for $40/night. 5 minute walk and there is overnight parking at Montreal college for $27/night which is what we did. If you like site seeing walk to the old port / old downtown. It takes about 50mins each way, we left in the morning and saw bunch of activities during the day. Then walked back at night to an entirely different view on Montreal at night. Highly recommended! 3) Breakfast was disappointing. Same items every day (we were there for 3 nights). Boiled eggs, 1kind of meat, 2kinds of cheese, toast bread / bagels and mini croissants, mehh to the coffee and juice, some basic boxed serial. The most frustrating was seeing the two guys looking after breakfast yapping away on the side, and each time I became in some items were out, took them way to long to refill, or even notice they were out of basic stuff like meat -:( I can get over the selection, but at least make sure you're stacked up at all times so people don't waste morning waiting or asking, it's a crappy way to start a day. On day 2 we skipped it, and went literally down the street, where $30 got us hand crafted crepes loaded with goodies made on the spot and some amazing coffees. Overall affordable, good location, great staff (minus the kitchen help)

Checking in and out was probably the smoothest. The customer service at the front desk was honestly the best part of this stay. According to Expedia, parking is available. For both nights, there was no parking available. We asked while checking in, and again the morning after. We ate at the restaurant at the sister hotel, and watched people use Valet the whole time we ate. We were told by the front desk that they have 2 parking lots, that were full. We had to pay for parking down the street, which was an expense we weren't expecting. It was $27 for 24hour parking. The lobby was cute and well maintained. The hallway up to our room had spiders and spiderwebs. Spiderwebs were on our ceiling in our room as well. Damage could be found around the room and the vanity. The bathtub was rusty. In the morning we went down to the Boudoir for breakfast. The breakfast was mediocre at best. The Saturday morning, there was a hair on a plate. The Sunday morning, my husband found a hair on his slice of cheese. The staff serving the breakfast sits on the steps the whole time, and the guests would have to continuously go and let them know if something was missing. Not once did I see them come to check what could be replenished. The Saturday, there was no milk, no juice, no meat. On Sunday, no milk, no juice, and no coffee. I would not recommend this hotel, and will not be staying here in the future. I am dissatisfied with my stay.

Stunning property and excellent customer service at front desk. One thing I was not impressed with was breakfast. Same thing every day, fruits was canned and seemed to runout of things in the middle of breakfast hours.

Business - with a holiday feel

I was in Montreal on business. It was perfect in every way. Culturally, it was a treat to be in an environment of earlier days - earlier than any days one can experience in the west. It felt like I was somewhere in Europe, without having to travel that far.
