The staff was very friendly and ready to help. Check-in and check-out was fast and easy. I have been staying at this hotel in the past 10 years, and I noticed that breakfast selection is a lot smaller now, but coffee is still freshly made and strong :)) I like that there are no carpets in the rooms. I like the location of this hotel, a lot of places are in walking distance.

I did not realize I would have to go up approximately 34 stairs even before I got to the lobby. And then up another seven and down another six to get to my room. The room appears to be adequate for what I require.

I've stayed here many times as its cheap and close to where I like to go in Montreal. I'm not fussy and don't mind that its a little run down, but I've definitely noticed it's been going downhill lately. Last two visits we found a needle in the hallway, and this time the garbage hadn't been cleared from our room and one of the two shared showers was broken.

Interesting stay... no private bathroom, only public, room was dusty, windows feel non-existent, you will hear everything. The room was mostly clean, with only 1 cigarette hole in the sheets! You get what you pay for here.
