This place is terrible. No A/C. No screens in the windows. Smells like a chain smoker lives there. You have to buzz in every time you enter the building and hope the guys is awake. No parking, none at all. The ceiling fan had 2 out of 3 lights burnt out. You can’t have the fan on and lights off. Outlets are only 2 prong without a ground. If you try and get a refund, the wont answer the phone when Expedia calls them.

Doss house

On entry to the building, my first impression was- low standard and my suspicions were soon confirmed. There are 2 flights of steep stairs leading to our floor and on entering the room, the pillow cases were dirty and had hair all over them. The blanket on the bed had holes in it- evidently due to cigarette burns.. No toilet paper. Ceiling fan not working- although a portable fan in poor condition was later provided. We had 3 nights of poor sleep due to the extreme heat in the room. A coffee machine was provided but without cups or any coffee ingredients. The so called private bathroom was so narrow that you had to enter it sideways. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Je n’ai pas séjourné dans cet hôtel, car les conditions d’insalubrité et d’hygiène des chambres étaient absolument déplorables. Il m’a été impossible de passer une seule nuit, bien que j’aie réservé pour deux jours. J’ai demandé un remboursement, mais celui-ci ne m’a pas été accordé. Une véritable arnaque !

The room was very small. It had a smell inside the whole apartment. Not a great stay to enjoy. Morning staff was not very friendly. The fan was not working, it was so hot inside the room. Very very small bathroom, so so so tiny.

You get what you pay for here. It’s a very run down place that smells of smoke, and the bed is uncomfortable. The sheets don’t look clean either. There is a shared bathroom on each floor. I’m really not complaining though as it was a cheap place to stay for the F1 race, and just down the road from the Metro.

The staff were polite, but I did not like anything else about the place. It really was not a good setup.. Caution in strongly advised if going out after dark! Good luck.

Low key, no frills place. Be aware of which room you're booking, not all of them have an integrated bathroom, but some do. Owners/people who worked there were all very kind and helpful. Wouldn't necessarily recommend it to anyone, but for the purposes of my short Mtl work trip, it absolutely did the job.
