Here’s a clear, well-rounded hotel review: The staff was very friendly, helpful, and accommodating throughout our stay. The rooms and bathrooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable. Although there is no on-site parking, a parking option is available just a few meters away, which was convenient. Overall, a pleasant and comfortable stay.

Cons - breakfast consists of a single square of fruit cake, a 1 inch cube of cheese and a few tiny pieces of dried apricots. This is a snack at best, but more like a dessert. I tried on 3 separate occasions to address this... in an email, in a personal discussion with the front desk in the evening who agreed it was small, but that's how it is, and then with the desk staff during the day after a second disatisfactory "breakfast". To her credit, she acknowledged my issue, and did her best to make notes for the kitchen to correct the problem. However, my 3rd breakfast arrived with her notes attached, but no change to the portions included. "Let them eat cake". Pros - location is perfect. Rooms have so much character with narrow slat wood floors, beautiful 10ft windows with original hardware, interior brick walls, and beautiful wall papers. Shower is fantastic with 24" built in rain shower head and oversized stall. Just so very disappointing to have completely missed the mark on the breakfast, despite 3 separate discussions to try to correct the problem.

Great little boutique hotel in Old Montreal. The balcony room was spotless with updated bathroom and nice floors and brickwalls. A great spot and value for a cozy and romantic stay. Perfect place to stroll the old town, visit the cafés and various attractions besides having a great restaurant of their own. Staff are very welcoming too.

Overaal the hotel is awesome..it just needs to upgrade its entertainment and keep the restaurant open the whole day No bar service into the evening. I will recommend it to my people.
