This place is a good option for backpackers, especially if you’re traveling light. It’s very convenient if you’re not bringing much with you. However, be aware that they don’t provide locks for the lockers in the two-person pods. There’s also no shampoo, soap, or towels provided, so make sure to bring your own. Bring your own water as well, since they don’t refill their water dispenser. The microwave and fridge are available but not well maintained. On the plus side, the location is excellent—very convenient and close to many of Montreal’s top attractions.

I went outside for abit and when i came back there was someone in my pod! Thankfully the staff resolved it and provided me with an alternative pod with a non working tv!

This place has bugs, there is no doors to the capsules and its underground there is a stink lingering in all the bathrooms and the halls and the shower is busted there is so much more to say about this spot but ill have to make a video review.

Overall not a horrible place to stay if you don’t mind horrid bo and no doors on your pods. Yes unlike most pods that have a card locking system, this company has decided to replace them with open curtains that you are unable to close unless you have something to cover the gap in the middle. You can find a much better bang for your buck at Hotel St André.

Great Staff but you may get a lemon module

it's a Hostel and it looked quit modern and the modules are supposed to be sound proof but my bottom bunk was do squeaky that every time I tossed to one side the whole module would squeak leaving no peace for my neughbours and my back was just killing me every night the mattress was so thin I could feel the steel bar underneath my back all night ,... I got the lemon bed I assumed ... and I felt the place needed to be sprayed for bugs had to wash all my cloths at the laundry mate to make sure I was taking on any viditors... I must say it's cheap and you a lousy bed well you pay for what you get for. Nonetheless the staff where found regularly cleaning and courteous .... Madelaine made a good impression on me and thus the reason I stayed the full three nights. If go to a hostel remember to request a good functioning module .... it's in the old Montreal section which is a perfect location to access the historical sites of this great city.

Pods do not have doors as shown in the photos. They have only fabric with a slit or pull down shades. No power outlet in pod, only usb ports. Mattress is very thin and it is right on the floor, making it challenging to get up, especially with uncomfortable frame. Stairs are simple mdf to upper bunk. Stairs are unavoidable as sleeping quarters are in the basement. Soap and shampoo are provided but there is not a way to dry your hands at all (no hand dryers, paper towels, or towels.) No common room like many hostels - only a kitchenette/dining area.

The pictures for this hostel are not accurate at all. That was the biggest complaint for us. The doors to each pod do not close completely. The pod we were assigned to had a curtain that was attached with a flimsy piece of duct tape and we were not offered a different pod even though many were open at the time of our check in. We had booked 3 nights total and ended up only staying 1 night.

This property is an absolute scam. The pods are absolutely horrible and smell like a wet dog. The pods aren’t soundproof and the doors are all broken while attempting to be masked with a badly cut out piece of fabric instead. No lockers are inside the pods as advertised, instead it’s broken lockers outside the pods which were already all used (you also needed your own lock). The property was apparently under construction which meant no kitchen or pool table. Overall this place is definitely not worth the money!
