The room we were given was NOTHING like the photos. It felt like a scam… and they knew it. Nice people who work there so they refunded on night. Its a worn sort of cluttered hotel I would not stay here again.

The hotel was quaint, very much like a European hotel. Beware, there are many steps up to the front desk and very helpful young men to carry your luggage, but beware for anyone using a wheelchair or mobility device! All staff were helpful and they had a delightful bar for an evening drink and a fantastic croissant breakfast.

We had the most amazing stay at L Hotel! The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful! The pastries each morning were such a treat! Our room was much bigger than we expected and so comfortable! We absolutely loved the area and would definitely recommend this hotel and would come back!

Great location and staff was friendly. Bed and pillows were comfy. Breakfast was nice to have. Rooms could use a little update stained/ripped carpets, stained chairs etc but was still clean. It was nice they had parking since it was a busy area. Would recommend and stay here again.

The staff at the hotel was wonderful- that's why I gave it four stars...the hotel was in a beautiful location in Old Montreal, but our room had some issues... cracked tile in the bathroom right in front of the toilet which moved consistently, toilet paper holder constantly falling(it was broken), window view was obstructed, the bathroom had no vent, and one bed was lower and a little smaller than the other, and internet in the room was horrible (thank goodness for hotspotting). The photos of the rooms they show online are not typical...a little misleading :/

We love the L Hotel and have stayed there 3 times in the last couple of years. It’s very quaint and the location is great. It is a boutique hotel with tons of beautiful artwork hanging everywhere. I highly recommend it.
