Took our granddaughter to Montreal for her 12th birthday. Since she is learning French we wanted to be in the Old City. Found this by accident online and so glad we did - perfect for the 3 of us. Everywhere we wanted to go was easily walkable (and I have a cane!) and it’s not far from the train station. Lots of eating options if you look around. Counter staff very helpful and of course bilingual. Grandpa and grandma want to come back again with or without grandchildren.👍

I would say about the property is the bathroom could have two towel racks instead of one small one. Love the concept of having the open supplies to top up in this suite. The rooftop amenities were lovely. The building itself and the suites were on point.

This was our first experience with a Sonder property and we'll be back. The rooms are modern, the location is great and the staff was excellent. A few notes. Old Montreal can get a little noisy and you'll hear some of this from your room. However the hotel provides earplugs, and white noise device in your bedroom to help mitigate this. Also note that while still in Old Montreal, the hotel is separated just enough from the main entertainment corridors to make this managable for all but the lightest sleepers. The apartments are well equipped, and having the washer and dryer in the room was great. I'd suggest that the bathrooms, while sleek, would benefit from having an additional towel rack or two, and the duvet design makes it difficult to pull it up to cover the shoulders of taller sleepers. Neither of these would dissuade us from returning.

A great stay, yet again!

We loved our stay at Sonder! This was the second time we've booked here and incredibly got the exact same room as last year. It felt like our own little apartment in Montreal. It's the perfect location for us and would easily stay here again. Only note is that our bedsheet had a slight orangey stain in one spot, and one of the towels had a black mark on it - so just a callout on checking the linens closer prior to check in for guests?

Not impressed this time around.

Room was nice. However, was not very clean. Under the beds were filthy - like they’ve never been cleaned before. Found someone’s old shirt in the closet with dust all over it. Makes me wonder if it was cleaned properly before checking in. Room was well stocked with towels, kitchen supplies etc. VERY LOUD - Stayed here as a family, as we have before in the past. However, this time the noise was out of control. Walls seem paper thin. They provide ear plugs on the bedside tables, but they don’t do anything. Don’t think we would return after this experience.
