Very well facilitated hotel with friendly staff. Excellent location for the Christmas market with fantastic views from the room. There’s also lots of eating options close by. The hotel also has a free hot drinks and light snacks station to use during your stay. We brought the wrong travel adaptor with us thinking the usual EU adapter would work but the staff were very helpful and provided us with a plug for a deposit which was removed after it was returned.

We felt like we were tricked! The room was incredibly small. The covers didn’t even cover our bodies they were so small! The shower was ridiculous. The shower head kept moving down while trying to shower. We booked two days but refused to stay the second day. We moved resorts first thing in the morning! We didn’t get our money back for the second day but it was so bad that we didn’t care. We just needed to leave. Best advice don’t do it!!

Beautiful hotel. Some really cool amenities like a hot tub, candy bar, and free mini bar. The only thing we weren’t happy with was the room we got. We payed for a lake view and saw trees as they put us on the 1st floor. The bed was also uncomfortable as it was a Murphy bed. So low and rock hard.

Five star hotel at a three star price. Everything about the Mona was superb. Directions to the hotel were clear. It’s a short walk from the rail station, right on the Montreux lake walk, and 5 minutes from the ferry landing. Staff was very helpful, helped us with our luggage and provided tips and information. They provided a room upgrade without us asking or knowing. The room was very large with ample space. The view was magnificent with a large, amazing balcony. The minibar was stocked and all complimentary. The hotel restaurant was excellent and reasonably priced. Mona had unlimited coffee drinks in the lobby, so we ended the night with a hot chocolate and latte on our balcony. My only regret is I didn’t book another night or two. Next time.

Fun and stylish hotel right on the Lake. Easy walking to Funky Claude's, Freddy's Statue, the pier or casino. We stayed in the Cosy Mona, so we had a balcony overlooking the water - fantastic views! Only drawbacks - bathroom was SMALL, like really small. & Elevators are also quite small, but there's two and they move very quickly! But 2 people and bags is pretty much full any more people trying to get on is quite packed!

Excellent breakfast. Many options. Made to order omelets. Restaurant also excellent. Amazing views. We were upgraded from a “cosy Mona” to a lower floor panorama room. Many windows that opened for a refreshing breeze. You could almost step right into the lake from our balcony. Bluetooth speaker with good sound plus a comfortable bed and lots of room. Staff offered great service plus help with luggage especially down front steps of building. Easy to get to hotel from train station - follow the blue line on the sidewalk.
