Clean and comfortable hotel with good access to Abel Tasman National Park. Not that many dining options in town so best to eat in Nelson before checking in. But solid choice for a hotel in this town

We had a lovely stay, the owners couldn’t do enough to help, we booked for a second night and they rejigged things so that we could stay in our room. It’s on the state highway but the noise wasn’t noticeable at night.

New owners have freshened everything - very charming and responsive - area a bit noisy on main street, but the trade-off is being close to dining. The fried chicken burger at Smokin' Barrel is amazing!
