From the onset, the communication with Max was great. He answered all my questions and concerns with clarity. The property was well kept and well appointed. Even had breakfast of our choice delivered to our room.

Literally a hidden gem

We had an amazing stay at The Inn at Shasta for my birthday weekend. The innkeeper Max was extremely communicative about check in and the specific driving directions to get to the property since the internet was spotty in the mountains. They make great attempts to ensure you get the proper information you need before your stay. They have a binder inside the room with everything you need to know and questions you might have during your stay and about the room. Breakfast during your stay is exceptional. They deliver it to your room as if you ordered room service, but it comes with the stay. The entire property is peaceful and serene. The cottages are far enough that you have your own privacy with balcony. We had the acorn cottage which was well maintained inside. Better than most luxury hotels you would get in the city. We went hiking near Mt Shasta and then to a couple waterfalls around Shasta lake. Even though we spent time near Mt Shasta and was an hour away, the drive was worth it. I would 10/10 recommend staying here to anyone I know. They are very accommodating with pets too. If you are spending time anywhere between Redding and Mt Shasta you’ll want to book here. Don’t miss this fantastic opportunity!

15 minutes north of Redding, this gem, in the woods (but not far off the freeway) is a fabulous alternative to chain hotels. Loved it and plan to stay again in the future.

The Inn at Shasta Lake is a true bed and breakfast experience, with the oversized well-designed for comfort rooms affording guests with the opportunity to kick up their feet in style and comfort. Complimenting this already high-quality stay are a manager, and staff, who go the extra mile to ensure you're truly enjoying your stay. You'll be sure to get a very warm and friendly greeting, followed by a top-notch experience of Indian food cooked to order for dinner, and a declious menu to choose from for your complimentary breakfast. I'm personally a huge sucker for exceptional customer service. Its a rare commodity to have anymore in a business. I cannot say enough good things about the level of customer service we received during our stay. We will definitely be back to enjoy this full-service and all-around fabulous experience at The Inn at Shasta Lake!

Great place to stay if you’re traveling with pets, rooms are nice and the grounds are great for walking your dog. The staff was great too, especially Max, he was very friendly and communicative. They also served dinner which was so convenient, it was a small menu with some Indian food options, we had the butter chicken and it was delish! Would definitely stay again!
