Comfortable, Family-Friendly Stay

Our stay at Arthotel Munich was fantastic and made for a great home base during our family trip to Munich. Traveling with two teenagers, we needed a place that was comfortable, convenient, and family-friendly — and this hotel checked all the boxes. The location is ideal — just a short walk from the Hauptbahnhof (central train station), making it easy to explore the city and take day trips. Despite being so close to everything, the hotel was quiet and relaxing. Our room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The beds were great, the bathroom was modern, and we had plenty of space to unwind after a long day. The only minor downside was the Wi-Fi, which was on the slower side — not a dealbreaker, but something to note if you rely heavily on streaming or remote work. Breakfast was one of the best parts of our stay — generous, fresh, and with lots of variety. From hot dishes to fruit and yogurt, there was something for everyone, and it really got our mornings off to a good start. All in all, Arthotel Munich was a wonderful choice for our family. The staff were welcoming, the atmosphere was relaxed, and the location couldn’t have been better. We’d happily stay here again on our next visit to Munich!

Hotel's proximity to the train station worked well for us. On the hotel itself, staff were courteous, helpful and accomodative even when we had to leave the hotel very early in the morning. If there is any small nitpicking, it would be that breakfast in the morning area can get very busy. So require to head there early.

We stayed at this property twice, once at the beginning of our trip and then we booked a second stay toward the end. Both stays included a room for 4 adults. The first room was great except for the pillows (flat/flimsy). We arrived late in the evening for our second stay and we were upgraded to a deluxe room. Everything about this room was excellent! The pillows were fluffy and the room and restroom were quite spacious for 4 adults. The breakfast and coffee/tea options were excellent! The hotel is easily within walking distance from the train station. The bus station is a bit further but still only a 15 - 20 minute walk (requires a short distance under a well-lit road tunnel). We would definitely stay here again.

Hotel was clean and bright. staff where friendly and helpful. Breakfast had an adequate selection of cold meats, breads, fruit, yoghurt and cereal. Downside is that there is a construction site right outside the hotel with a lot of noise during the day (Mon/Fri) but you can't blame the hotel for that as it is out with their control overall we had a great stay and would definitely book again
