Definitely wouldn’t put a step back in that hotel, and obviously wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. The only pro to this hotel is the location, good access to subway and old town. Besides that: room had lots of spiderwebs in the corners, windows didn’t seal properly (we got a cold because of that), door is loose and every time someone walks by or there’s an air current it appears that someone was knocking on the door, worst part is the shower: 60X60 cm square area with extremely big curtains that don’t stop all the water to end up on the bathroom floor and don’t allow you to shower properly without sticking to your body, plus ventilation is non existent in the bathroom so all of the humidity ends up in your room. Staff is ok, friendly and helpful. My recommendation skip this one and try somewhere else.

Im a budget traveler and this is the first hotel that didnt charge me for late check-in, we were 15mins late. Because we all know how Europe can be. AND they upgraded us to a bigger room !!!! Staff were very pleasant. And they have an elevator, because half the time of budget hotels, you will need to use the stairs with your luggages.

We had a very smooth check in process, the staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and nicely furnished. The bedding and pillows were down and so cozy. The location is perfect. Cafes and shopping right outside the door. Close to Old Town and transportation. The bathroom was a little outdated, our shower head holder was broken but water ran hot and it still got the job done.

The hall carpets, rooms, and facility finishing and amenities are subpar, but the service by the staff was very accommodating with every request which greatly helped. The location was centrally located and walking distance to most everything.

The elevator was being worked on when we checked in, so we carried our luggage 4 floors. The hallways smelled musty. The room was old dingy and needed a lot. No shelve in bathroom and one glass for 2 people.

Was in a very good location and about 8-10 min walk to the centre/main square. Hotel doesn’t offer breakfast and don’t be fooled by going to the recommended bakery/coffee shop across the road. If you don’t know what you want before you’re served, they get aggressive! Seemed to dislike tourists! Never went back there. Walk a bit further down and there are some lovely friendly cafes. Hotel is very dated. They’ve tried to renovate and was ok but beds way too soft so didn’t sleep well. Friendly staff tho!

Location is so good! Near subway, tram, shopping, restaurants and sightseeing. Staffs are friendly and helpful. The wall is quite thin but other than that it’s great!

I stayed for 4 nights. The location is great — close to a walking boulevard, public transport, many shops, bars, and restaurants. The staff is very friendly and always ready to help. You can leave your luggage, have a hot coffee, or ask for local tips — they are really welcoming. But the room was not clean. There was dust everywhere — on the mirrors, shelves, and nightstands. The blanket was not comfortable; the filling was all pushed to the sides, and the middle was empty. I used both blankets (since I was staying alone) to keep warm. It would be nice to replace them with proper covers or duvets. Also, I stayed on the 5th floor, and to get hot water, I had to run the tap for about 5 minutes, no matter if it was day or night. So just be patient if you're taking a bath — hot water takes time. Overall, if the rooms were cleaned better and the bedding replaced, I would stay here again. The reception staff is great, and the location is very convenient.

Small older property. Rooms and bathrooms are very small. The bedding had stains. The floors under the bed had not been swept in weeks. The toilet had issues flushing and the cover was cracked. It was all wood floors which made everything very noisy in the rooms an hallways. You could here the people shower and use the restroom in the rooms around you. Very noisy place. Positive is the front desk clerks were very nice and informative and it is so close to the tourist attractions, food, and public transportation. Marienplatz is only a 10 min walk if that.
