First the good. The view is great, the location is very close to everything, the walk to the beach is super easy, the check in and out process is very simple and the host is responsive. Next, the not so good. The master bedroom is at least 10 degrees hotter than the rest of the condo, we did find a fan and that helped. The sliding glass door doesn’t lock and is hard to open and close. The condo is surface clean but could use a deep cleaning. Now the bad. When we arrived there was a cockroach in the kitchen that appeared to be dying. The next morning there was a dead one by the back door and later that day there was an alive one on the ceiling. The host said they treat regularly and was willing to send someone out to spray again. The building is old and has many floors. I know there is no controlling where the bugs go but I think other renters should be aware. Finally, the app said check out was at 11:00 and the cleaning person showed up at 10:45 and told us check out was at 10:00. Luckily we were mostly ready and were able to leave quickly.
