The check-in, reception staff and Bula Express staff were fantastic. A couple of let downs for us. The room was spotless clean but the bathroom tile grout was mouldy. Maybe a bit of Overall the food was not up to the standard I’d expect at a resort like this. For instance, at the deli, fresh juices were advertised and my fresh pineapple juice was anything but. Upon returning the item, there was no apologies - the staff just took the glass away without a word. We did have an okay breakfast selection at Koro, however the lunch menu wasn’t great. We ended up eating outside of the hotel at Port Denarau. The adult only area near Kori was amazing - very clean and relaxing. A bit of rain didn’t dampen Our stay was very short so there was no need to raise the minor issues for the time we had.

I have raised the issues with the hotel , at this stage they have not resolved my complaint - no hot water - barbecue provided not working and if you cooked on it it would not be fit for human consumption, also dirty overhead fan above oven - it was disgusting

Room was nice but everything else was sub par. They tried to nickle and dime me for everything. Premium cost for drinking water and food. They didn’t even know the water park was closed which was the main Reason we stayed here. Of all the hotels we stayed at , this places was the worst. The Marriot is so much better. This place is. For tourist suckers.

The front desk staff were not too accommodating, didn’t go above and beyond. It was quiet season and I requested for a late check out since my flight was departing at 22:00 and check out was at 11:00am. The best they could do was an extra hour, with the alternative being that I paid $250. I had no option but to checked out at 12:00 and spend 10 hours at the airport! Mind you, I was embarking on an 25 hour journey back to the UK. This set a bad tone for my upcoming trip, made it extremely long and even more tiring. There was no welcome drinks, cold towel on my arrival however, I noticed that other guests were offered this on their arrival. Room telephone didn’t work despite telling the front desk staff. This meant that I had to travel from my room to the desk which was about 2km walk. Cleaning team often didn’t fully close my room door well after room service and I often came back to my room with lots of mosquitos as a result. This was also a security breach as anyone could have entered my room and stolen my belongings.
