Frustrating as booked a non cancellable room and asked to move from sat/sun to sun/mon if possible. Understand it was my fault for not paying for a refundable room but they ignored hotels.com for a week before I gave up. Would prefer a negative response to nothing! Staff on reception are very helpful though once we arrived…. Onsen lovely and noodles at 9.30 welcome after a long day!

We liked it. We stayed in another hotel from this chain, in Kyoto. This hotel had more space. I would advise getting the twin bed room instead of the master one. This way, for the first time in Japan, we had a bit room to breathe and to open our big checkin luggages (the hard shell ones oprn like a book and take out all the space). So space wise very good. Very nice staff too. Hotel is very close to the train station which is nice as well.

Had 2 two rooms. Suprisingly nice experience. Good air conditioning, no smell. Like that there were 2 chairs and a table in room. Comfortable beds. Asked for extra pillows. Laundry was helpful. Good coffee. Free massage chairs. Located in a very convenient and cool area.

Whilst the hotel room and bed were a little on the small side (to be expected in Japan), the facilities and service the hotel provided were excellent. The onsen is lovely with free ice creams or probiotic drinks available afterwards; laundry machine is free to use (tumble dryer is 100¥ for 20mins) and there’s free ramen available in the evening. Location is excellent for the train station

Excellent hotel!

Lovely clean, friendly hotel that is near the station so easy to get to. The breakfast is wonderful and complimentary noodles are served each evening. The spa facilities are great with lovely products which are all complimentary. There is ice cream to enjoy for free after the onsen and free juice and coffee in reception! A great stay!

The service is not that great. The staff at the front desk seemed annoyed and impatient. I did not want to interact with them even when I had need to. The pillows were the worst. They were hard lumps that felt like a tightly folded up bath towel. I would not recommend this hotel to my family or friends. There were a lot of other hotels in Nagano.

Truly one minute from train station, very comfortable, very good breakfast buffet, free ice cream in afternoon, free ramen evening after 21:30, free washing machines with dryers 100 yen per 20 months minutes; separate men’s and women’s onsen very clean. Great value.

The public bath facility was very good, although a little small for the ladies. So some evenings might get crowded but mornings are usually quiet. I was a little surprised that the housekeeping doesn’t include making the beds and I also found a cup unwashed by the sink. Could just have been neglected by the staff.
