Great location and spacious pods/ beds. Each bed has an assigned locker large enough to store valuables. Loads of room under the beds for suitcases. Charging points in the pods. Nice bar area and friendly staff.
Clean and new, bar seems to be nice if I could have tried, shower room has shampoo conditioner and body soap as well, I would definitely use again if I stay in nagano again!
It was a great capsule hotel experience which I wanted to try
A great stay. Capsule hotel like. Very clean and quiet despite many pods. Some ppl don’t like the fact that the lounge isn’t available during the day. In my opinion, that space is part of the restaurant. So unless you’re purchasing from the restaurant, it makes sense that area is reserved for patrons only. There’s another lounge upstairs anyways for hostel guests. FYI no amenities provided like they do in some other places.
The only weird thing was the sheets - the duvet was put inside a fitted bed sheets so most of it was exposed and during sleep, it comes out anyways. Maybe they ran out of flat sheets.
Was just what it said it was, easy access to little food joints and short walk to train station made this a great choice for me. Just one night, then onto Hakuba Ski valley on a bus nearby. Just an hour or so was walking to the slopes
Great place for transients who need a cheap place to sleep but don’t need a big room. The “capsules” are very spacious - easy to sit up and read a book (or watch a movie on your smartphone). Dimensions are approximately 2.5m x 1m x 1m. Has one electric outlet. Shower rooms are separate but private with a locking door. The 3F lounge has a toaster oven and microwave plus a water kettle.
Overall a good location next to paid parking and grocery store.
For backpackers who are wanting affordable and comfortable accommodation, this is a suitable option.

Security Concerns
The place has serious security issues. When I checked-in my bed was supposed to be ready but turned out that it had been used. It looks like anyone from outside can access the floor and follow someone else to enter the room, and I am not sure if they have sufficient security cameras; besides, the main entrance and room access codes seem to be fixed (as they are printed on a laminated card) so anyone who had been to the place would know the code. Between 22:00-08:00 there is no night staff so anyone can get in and stay the night. Out of caution I wanted to keep my luggage at the front desk but such service is not available. They have a nice public space on ground floor but they only allow people to eat in a small room with only two tables on 3rd floor and this is not enough space for all people at dinner time. They have ice machine but would not give any ice. They also would not keep your luggage after checkout, which is quite inconvenient. I hope the host can fix these problems.
Fantastic stay. An easy walk from nagano station with many dining and shopping options in the area. Lockers were provided to store valuables and there was plenty of space under the beds to store larger bags. The rooms were spacious and the beds comfortable.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
It was very convenient because it was close to the station. Very clean and the staff are nice. I hope they had slippers because the floor was not carpeted. And the door at the bathroom was a bit loud if you’re opening and closing it.
Great Hostel. I recommend paying a little extra to get a private if you have some friends. Bed frame is a bit too big for the room but if you’re mindful of space it shouldn’t be a problem. Conveniently located near the train station and a fair walk to the Zenko-Ji temple.
My second time staying here. Awesome hostel and cafe. Really enjoyed the free beverage dispenser and overall ambience of the cafe downstairs. Staff were friendly and happy to help out. Super spacious cabin bunks in the dorms and clean tidy bathrooms.
Check in was strictly at 4pm but that was expected. I was able to leave my luggage earlier so that was ok. The bathrooms were very clean and it was good to have a locker with code to keep your things. There is enough space under the bed to put your suitcase. Another great plus was the free coffee
Bathroom had dirty footstep marks. Had to pay for towel and other bathroom accessories....Toothbrush, plastic cup and bathroom product left seems to be from previous customers using bathroom....
