Nice Resort

Not a bad resort in the Nanoose/Parksville area. I would say the only downside was the size of the unit, and the lack of functioning furniture. Would have been nice to have a desk or in the very least a coffee table. Plus side, the outdoor hot tub was a great addition to the nightly rental. There is also a gym and indoor pool as well.

Nice property for a weekend away! Rooms are a little noisy/not very soundproof for a resort that attracts so many families/young kids. Service in the restaurant is a bit slow and inconsistent but the staff is friendly.

Nice room; poor professionalism

The room was nice with a nice view. The manager was not professional. She spent several minutes arguing with an owner over the phone while I stood there trying to check out. Did not acknowledge me at all - just stared at her computer screen. I had to interrupt their argument to hand in my keys. I know this was the manager based on the content of the phone conversation (the staff were otherwise pleasant).

Impressive value!

Had a great time staying here during the off-season. The restaurant had great food, & the pool & hot tubs were well-maintained. The surrounding area is breathtaking & I will definitely be back

It feels like going to a spa staying at this resort when you take advantage of the sauna, indoor and outdoor hot tubs, swimming pool, and massage chairs. The beds are very comfortable, but the sofa beds, not so much. The staff are very accommodating and helpful. The only improvement I would like is salt and pepper provided in the kitchen suites.

Beautiful

Great staff and resort. We loved everything about it except for the terrible bed. We're hoping to come back and give this wonderful resort another chance. If not for the lost sleep it would have been very special.

The staff were friendly but not well trained. I was triple charged on the deposit ($300) and no one seemed to know how to reverse the charges including the general manager. In an attempt to reverse them I was charged another $100 a week later. The only solution they could come up with is issuing and mailing a cheque with no known date for when it would arrive.
