The location is wonderful. Free min-golf is always a bonus when staying at the hotel. Walking distance to beach access as well. It felt as tho this hotel might be in the process of renovating …starting on the exterior first. 4/5

Positive: The staff are wonderful and very nice! The location is good right on Island Hwy with free parking and includes a free round of mini golf across the street. Negative: The motel needs a COMPLETE AND FULL renovation! The room and bathroom are old, moldy, smell of cigarette smoke, holes in cupboards, cracks in doors, no door seal, door lock mechanism is flimsy, curtains are stained, ripped and hang broken off the rod. The bathroom tub seal has mold underneath and the shower head height is for someone under 5'2. The work done on the exterior of the building gives one the illusion of how nice the inside rooms are, don't be decived. This motel was operating as a temporary supportive housing facility for individuals experiencing addiction and homelessness, and has not been adequatley restored from poor condition to a fresh, modern standard place. The metaphor for this motel is "lipstick on a pig".

I rented a kitchen unit as we did not want to spend more money on eating out. Was advertised as fully stocked kitchenette. For a room that sleeps 6 people. We had 1 fork, 3 butter knives, 3 teaspoons and 1 tablespoon. 2 tiny sauce pans with one lid that doesn’t fit the pot and 1 small frying pan! Toaster was greasy and dirty! NO dish towel, dish rack or oven mitts! Kitchen was dirty, floors, all tables were dirty! The smoke alarm was constantly beeping due to needing a battery change. Not comforting at ALL! Curtains if you can call them that in the bedroom do not cover the window at all! So the building and parking lot behind the motel can see right in the bedroom!!! After attempting to have my first shower there with water pressure that you could probably pee harder than what was coming out. The first towel I grab off the rack looks like somebody used it to wash their dog with. Not sure if it had even been laundered!! I’ve been a cleaner and currently own my own cleaning business for over 30yrs. I’ve cleaned in every industry of cleaning and am discussed on the lack of everything at this motel. Not to mention pissed off for paying $900 for the week! You should be a shamed that you aren’t vetting the places you promote. The likely hood that I will ever use your services again, well let’s just say Hell will freeze over first!
