This is an Art Deco hotel right in the middle of the Art Deco area of Napier. It is part of the Art Deco walking tour and is worth it

This hotel doesn't offer onsite parking. We had to pull up on a side street next to the hotel and wait in a line of other cars to unload our luggage at the hotel. It was raining when we arrived, and we had to park three blocks from the hotel in an open parking lot and walk back to the hotel in the rain. Our room was small but nice and quiet.

Really enjoyed the stay at the hotel with it's art deco theme, One suggestion is that the modern ceiling light fittings are changed to art deco style.

The highlight for us was location. We were positioned at the start of the Art Deco walk and right in front of the beach promenade. The hotel was historic with authentic Art Deco styling. Service was excellent. The only negative was that parking was not onsite, but we recognize that there is nothing they can do about it.

The decor was outstanding. A real gem of a hotel. Just beautifully designed and decorated. The staff were very professional and helpful with local knowledge. The location is great. Parking was safe two blocks away from the hotel. Loading bay outside though. Couldn’t recommend this hotel highly enough. Just wonderful.
