Had a comfortable 3 day stay in Central Napier. Bed was comfortable and room was a good size. I was happy with the kichen facilties, which we used to cook a meal. Persons on reception were very courteous.

Property was very clean, however dated. Rooms were fantastic and service great. The only downside was the the parking, extremely small spaces, and extremely hard to manoeuvre in the garage.

Overall this was a great spot … close enough to the main downtown pedestrian shopping area but still quiet. We were in the older part of the property. It has nice some character but also had creaking floors and the room we were in had a odd sofa that wasn’t particularly comfortable. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Spacious bathroom with nice tub/shower and wonderfully big windows. Good to bring a sleep mask if light bothers you when sleeping. They have blackout blinds but the light still comes in on the edges. We loved Napier and would stay here again but would ask more questions about the room set up first or request a room in the newer building.

On site parking (underground garage) a bit small & tight - NOT for large vehicles. If parking makes you nervous may want to consider street parking. Otherwise the stay was great!! Friendly staff too!

Basic yet comfortable motel style accommodation. The room was spacious and bright, and location is also very good, right next to the restaurants and water front. Jon at check in was super friendly, polite and professional. The bathroom needs a major upgrade though - it had the tiniest mirror and storage cupboard.

Quest was a fun hotel. Our family of three had an apartment with a separate bedroom, a bed in the living room area, a well-stocked kitchenette and a sitting area. The bedroom had sliding panels to close for privacy. The owners did a good job of embracing an historic building but updating for modern conveniences. The original wood floors were used in the apartment. The property has a library for guest use. The check-in process was smooth and the staff were friendly and helpful. It is well-located near the beach, restaurants and shops. I would definitely recommend this property!
