The hotel was in a good spot right in the Centre Storico. It could sometimes get noisy in the restaurant outside. The staff were all nice and friendly and my room was comfortable with air con, wifi and a kettle. It was a shame the room wasn't serviced every day except for bed being made, but I am sure they would have given me clean cups if I had asked. The shower was really powerful but the wall bracket was broken.

Old Hotel in Naples

The lobby is on the 3rd floor. The very small elevator is scary. The wifi didn't work. Beds are very uncomfortable. AC was not great. No hooks to hang towels on in the bathroom. No shelves in the shower, had to put our toiletry items on the shower floor. Location in old Naples was decent.

Nápoles é uma cidade espetacular. Ficar hospedada no seu coração é uma experiência singular. As ruas caóticas, os becos escuros, o amontoado de épocas histórias, tantas e tantas culturas que já passaram por ali... e a diversidade que ainda temos, fez da minha estadia um episódio inesquecível da minha vida. Os atendentes solicitos, em especial os 2 rapazes da limpeza e a garota que preparava o café expresso. Encontrar o quarto e o banheiro todos limpinhos após uma expedição pelos espaços pitorescos da cidade histórica, era um momento de acalmar o corpo, o intelecto e a alma.

Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr gut, mitten in der alten Stadt. Als ich kam war das Hotel noch zimmlich leer und daher das Frühstück sehr mittelmäßig (es wurde besser als das Hotel sich ein paar Tage später mit Gäste füllte.) Das Personal war freundlich/distanziert. Ansonsten ist das Zimmer sauber, jeden Tag kam jemand, um das Zimmer zu putzen. Das Hotel bittet ein zuverlässiges Taxiservice zum Flughafen, welches zu empfehlen ist (20 Euro anstatt 30 Euro regular Preis am Flughafen, was so oder so sehr teuer ist - es sind nur knapp 6 km bis zum Hotel).... Aber gut! Muss man dazu rechnen, denn es scheint kompliziert zu sein, mit den öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel zum Hotel bzw. Flughafen zu gelangen (auch die Gassen sind fürs Koffer Rollen nicht geeignet). Wenn man die lebendige alte Stadt genießen will, ist das Hotel super. Ansonsten, wenn man sich abends nach Ruhe sehnt sollte man nicht hin, denn die Zimmer vor Lärm nicht sehr gut isoliert sind. Persönlich hat mir die Lage des Hotels sehr gut gepasst.

Don’t stay here.

Customer service was terrible. The toilet made a 30 second very loud noise like a horn when you flushed it. The bed was hard as a rock and the shower did not drain flooding the bathroom up to our ankles. It was also in a very OLD and stinky dirty part of town.

Ideal base, location suited me

Great location, bars & resturaunts all around which I really appreciated as a solo traveller. A very highly rated pizza place next door, I think this keeps the area busy by night. Popular shopping streets a 5 minute walj Short walk to the port & about 15 minutes to train & bus station (though if you have luggage it could be a struggle on the cobbled streets). Helpful staff. Basic hotel but it was ideal as a base for my 3 night stay in Naples.
